சிறப்பொடு பூசனை செல்லாது வானம்
வறக்குமேல் வானோர்க்கும் ஈண்டு
விளக்கம்
மழை பெய்யாமல் வறண்டுபோனால் இவ்வுலகத்தில் வானோர்க்காக சிறப்புடன் நிகழும் திருவிழாவும் நடைபெறாது; நாள் வழிபாடும் நடைபெறாது.

சிறப்பொடு – சிறப்போடு (வேற்றுமை உருபு ‘ஓடு’ என்பது சங்க காலத்தில் ‘ஒடு’ என்று பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டது; மேலும் விளக்கம் இங்கே..)

வானம் – விசும்பு

Explanation
If the heaven dry up, neither yearly festivals, nor daily worship will be offered in this world, to the celestials.
